Story

This work began with her own healing journey.

Jacquie's grandmother taught her the value of Indigenous rituals, ceremonial practices, and the quiet strength of letting go long before those words became popular. Those teachings stayed with her as she learned how old wounds, survival patterns, and familiar realities can shape a life.

More than 25 years ago, Jacquie began sharing her story with community. People listened, recognized something in it, and asked her to teach what had helped her shift. That became the beginning of Healing The Mother Wound retreats and workshops.

Her path has not been easy, but it has been worth it. The lessons of her grandmothers challenged her to move from survival to creating a life of transformation. Resilience, ceremony, and spiritual connection continue to guide what she now shares with others.

Living Knowledge

Living knowledge, not a formula.

Jacquie brings a lifelong learning perspective and a body of knowledge that cannot be taken from a book or classroom. The work carries her own thumbprint: grandmother teachings, years of community sharing, and a living example of transformation.

She does not approach this work like a corporation or a scripted method. She approaches it as a grandmother, a guide, and a person who understands that real change asks for recognition, willingness, and care.

Healing The Mother Wound

Healing begins by listening to the wound.

Healing The Mother Wound is not limited to a matrilineal wound. Jacquie describes it as the first wound attachment. For some, it is connected to this life. For others, it is carried through a deeper spiritual story.

The work invites people to connect with the spiritual energy associated with the wound, understand the vibration it carries, and shift the patterns that block the true self. Through ceremony, story, and Soulscaping©, the soul can be tended like a garden: clearing what has overgrown, honoring what protected us, and making room for what is ready to grow.
